What are "Magnetic Sensors"?
They are sensors developped to detect magnetic fields generated by a permanent magnet or even an electromagnet.
What is the functioning principle of a "Magnetic Sensor"?
On the frontal part of the sensor there is an electronic component sensitive to the magnetic field, which if excited by a magnet it changes its characteristic generating a signal to the sensor output stage.
What are the sensor distances of a "Magnetic Sensor"?
As the sensor detects magnetic field, there is no standard distance for the sensor, since we have no standard default target, i.e. a magnet with standardised magnetic field value. Thus, the greater the intensity of the magnetic field generated by the magnet, the greater the sensing distance.
Where can we use the "Magnetic Sensors"?
In applications with linear valves or pneumatic cylinders.
